The Chicago Sky brought in a historic draft class in 2024, pairing up former SEC foes in South Carolina center Kamilla Cardoso and LSU forward Angel Reese. The two took the WNBA by storm in their first season as they both landed on the All-Rookie team.
Reese averaged 13.6 points and a league-leading 13.1 rebounds per game, while Cardoso put up a solid stat line of 9.8 points and 7.9 rebounds per contest in her inaugural WNBA season. The Sky made a move on Sunday evening to acquire the No. 11 pick in this year’s draft from the Minnesota Lynx, giving them two more opportunities to select game-changing players.
