Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese have had an exciting rivalry in the WNBA over the past year. Despite this, both players have shown mutual respect for each other on multiple occasions. Recently, the Chicago Sky star complimented Clark as one of the top shooters in the league.
During a recent episode of her podcast ‘Unapologetically Angel,’ comedian Funny Marco, a big WNBA fan, asked her to name the best shooters in the league. She mentioned Caitlin, Diana Taurasi, and then consulted Marco, who also suggested Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu.
Last season, Clark excelled in three-point shooting with a 34.4% accuracy, closely followed by Taurasi at 33.3% and Ionescu at 33.2%. Stewart, despite her championship success, had her lowest three-point shooting percentage, connecting on just 29.5% of her attempts.
Reese and Clark continue to show respect for each other. They recently discussed their rivalry and their thoughts on media narratives.

Clark mentioned that she doesn’t understand the obsession with their relationship. She stated, “We’re not best friends, but we respect each other. Yes, we’ve had intense battles, but we’ve never guarded each other.” Reese added that they harbor no resentment towards each other.

Clark praises Reese’s rebounding
Clark has previously expressed admiration for Reese’s offensive rebounding skills. She mentioned, “The thing that really stands out is the offensive rebounding. She did the same against us in college too.
“She’s an excellent offensive rebounder. She has a natural talent for it. It’s not something you can teach. She just knows how to go get the ball off the rim.”
While Clark led the Fever to their first playoff appearance since 2016, Reese’s team, the Sky, had a tough season, finishing with a 13-27 record.
