Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen has shared some insight into his future plans, amidst ongoing links to other clubs.
Eriksen joined United in 2022 and had a successful first season, forming a strong midfield trio with Fernandes and Casemiro. However, an injury and emergence of Mainoo limited his playing time last season.
Despite this, Eriksen made 28 appearances, scoring one goal and providing three assists.
At 32, Eriksen impressed for Denmark in Euro 2024, attracting interest from Ajax for a loan deal. United, however, prefer a permanent transfer to raise funds.
Galatasaray has also shown interest in the midfielder.
Currently on United’s pre-season tour in the US, Eriksen spoke about his future, expressing happiness at the club but not ruling out a transfer.
He emphasized his desire to play more and contribute on the pitch, regardless of his playing time.
United will face Arsenal in a pre-season match at SoFi Stadium this weekend.
