Christian Lee is set to make his return to ONE Championship after almost two years. The two-division World Champion has been absent since claiming the welterweight title in November 2022. On Friday, November 8, “The Warrior” will defend his ONE Lightweight MMA World Championship against Alibeg Rasulov at ONE 169: Atlanta.
With eight wins in his last nine fights, Lee has quickly risen to the top of MMA with impressive finishes. After avenging his only loss to Ok Rae Yoon with a second-round TKO, he went on to defeat Kiamrian Abbasov for the ONE Welterweight MMA World Title. Now, he is back to prove he’s still a dominant force in the sport.

Rasulov earned his title shot in his ONE debut at ONE Fight Night 23, where he beat Ok via unanimous decision in the main event. Despite being new to the promotion, the 31-year-old from Turkey has shown he can compete with the best in the division, putting Lee on notice.
The upcoming title fight is just one of three World Championship matches on the ONE 169: Atlanta card. Triple-division World Champion Anatoly Malykhin defends his heavyweight title against “Reug Reug” Oumar Kane, and ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai faces Jo Nattawut in a trilogy fight. The stacked lineup makes ONE 169 a must-see event.
This will also be the first time Lee competes as a professional in the United States. While based in Hawaii, he has mostly competed in Asia throughout his career. This is a great opportunity for him to showcase his skills to a domestic audience and solidify his status as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world.
Don’t miss ONE 169: Atlanta at the State Farm Arena on Friday, November 8. The event will be available on Prime Video at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. Tickets are now on sale through Ticketmaster.
