The beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 starts on August 30th. Here’s everything you need to know in advance
On October 25, the time has finally come: Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be launched. But before that, you can put the beta through its paces. Here you can find out exactly how and when to do this

Black Ops 6: Open Beta launch and preload date
Early Access Beta: August 30 to September 4 (key required)
Open Beta: September 6 to September 9 (no key required)
Time: The beta starts and ends at 7 pm each day
Preload date: Available since August 28th
How do I get a key for the Early Access?
Pre-orders of all digital editions will automatically get access to the early beta date (regardless of platform). Those who pre-order a physical box version will receive a beta key from the respective retailer.
In addition, various streamers and influencers award keys in raffles, for example on X/Twitter, Tiktok, Twitch or on various Discord servers.
How do I download the beta?
Players who have already installed the Season 5.5 update will automatically receive access to the Open Beta in the form of a further update. All others can simply grab it via their platform’s store.
So that you can start the new content on time on August 30, we recommend downloading the update in advance from August 28.

Black Ops 6 Beta in Game Pass
You can also play the beta of CoD Black Ops 6 via Game Pass if you have one of the following subscriptions:
Game Pass Console: 10 euros per month
Game Pass PC: 12 euros per month
Game Pass Ultimate: 18 euros per month
If you have a valid subscription, you can simply download and play the beta. No separate key is required for activation
Roadmap for Black Ops 6
In the Open Beta you get the chance to try out the new omni-movement system on a range of new maps and in different game modes.
After the beta phase is over, the beta content will be automatically removed from your disk with the Season 6 update. From then on, we will continue with the preparations for the full release
The final preparations for the release of Black Ops 6 will be made in mid-October. A new user interface will allow you to better navigate through the game menu.
In the Call of Duty Landing Zone you will then find all the main content on a single page so you no longer have to scroll.
