Larry Eder
Larry Eder has been involved in the sport of athletics for 52 years. He has participated in the sport as an athlete, coach, magazine publisher, and now as a journalist and blogger. His first article, featuring Don Bowden, America’s first sub-4 minute miler, was published in RW in 1983. Larry has launched several magazines focusing on athletics, including American Athletics and the U.S. version of Spikes magazine. Currently, he oversees the content and marketing development of the RunningNetwork, The Shoe Addicts, and RunBlogRun. Regarding RunBlogRun, where he shares his daily experiences with the sport, Larry expresses his love for traveling to various meets, writing about the sport he holds dear, and showcasing the athletes he admires to his readers at runblogrun.com. One of his other endeavors includes providing updates for BBC Sports during major events, a role he particularly enjoys. If asked about his favorite theme song, Larry would choose Greg Allman’s “I’m no Angel.”
