Larry Eder
Larry Eder has been involved in the sport of athletics for 52 years. He has participated in the sport as an athlete, coach, magazine publisher, and now, journalist and blogger. His first article, about Don Bowden, America’s first sub-4 minute miler, was published in RW in 1983. Larry has created several magazines focused on athletics, such as American Athletics and the U.S. version of Spikes magazine. Currently, he oversees the content and marketing development of the RunningNetwork, The Shoe Addicts, and RunBlogRun. Regarding RunBlogRun, his daily dedication to the sport, Larry expresses: “I have to admit, I love traveling to distant competitions, writing about the sport I am passionate about, and the athletes I admire, for my readers at runblogrun.com, more than anything else I have done, except maybe running itself.” He also provides updates for BBC Sports at important events, which he thoroughly enjoys.
