Larry Eder
Larry Eder has been involved in the sport of athletics for 52 years. He has participated in the sport as an athlete, coach, magazine publisher, journalist, and blogger. His first article, about Don Bowden, America’s first sub-4 minute miler, was published in RW in 1983. Larry has produced multiple magazines on athletics, including American Athletics and the U.S. version of Spikes magazine. Currently, he oversees the content and marketing development of the RunningNetwork, The Shoe Addicts, and RunBlogRun. When it comes to RunBlogRun, his daily connection with the sport, Larry admits: “I truly enjoy traveling to distant meets, writing about the sport I love and the athletes I admire, for my readers at runblogrun.com – more than any other aspect of my career, except perhaps running itself.” He also provides updates for BBC Sports at major events, which he finds immensely fulfilling. Theme song: Greg Allman’s “I’m No Angel.”
