Larry Eder
Larry Eder has been involved in the sport of athletics for 52 years. He has participated in the sport as an athlete, coach, magazine publisher, and now as a journalist and blogger. His first article, about Don Bowden, America’s first sub-4 minute miler, was published in RW in 1983. Larry has launched several magazines focusing on athletics, including American Athletics and the U.S. edition of Spikes magazine. Currently, he oversees content and marketing development for the Running Network, The Shoe Addicts, and RunBlogRun. Reflecting on his daily involvement with RunBlogRun, where he shares his passion for the sport, Larry admits: “I have to admit, I love traveling to far away meets, writing about the sport I love, and the athletes I respect, for my readers at runblogrun.com, more than anything else I have ever done, except, perhaps, running itself.” In addition, he provides updates for BBC Sports at important events, an experience he thoroughly enjoys. Theme song: Greg Allman, “I’m no Angel.”
