Larry Eder
Larry Eder has been involved in athletics for 52 years. He has participated in the sport as an athlete, coach, magazine publisher, journalist, and blogger. His first article, which focused on Don Bowden, the first American to run a sub-4 minute mile, was published in RW in 1983. Larry has created numerous magazines about athletics, including American Athletics and the U.S. edition of Spikes magazine. Currently, he oversees the content and marketing development of RunningNetwork, The Shoe Addicts, and RunBlogRun. When discussing his daily involvement with RunBlogRun, Larry expresses his passion for traveling to various meets, writing about the sport he loves, and highlighting the athletes he admires for readers at runblogrun.com. He considers this to be one of the most fulfilling experiences in his career, second only to his love for running itself. Additionally, Larry provides updates for BBC Sports at major events, a role he thoroughly enjoys. His theme song is “I’m no Angel” by Greg Allman.
