Larry Eder
Larry Eder has been involved in the sport of athletics for 52 years. He has participated in the sport as an athlete, coach, magazine publisher, and now as a journalist and blogger. Larry’s first article, which was published in RW in 1983, focused on Don Bowden, America’s first sub-4 minute miler. Over the years, Larry has published numerous magazines on athletics, including American Athletics and the U.S. version of Spikes magazine. Currently, he oversees content and marketing development for the RunningNetwork, The Shoe Addicts, and RunBlogRun. Larry describes his daily dedication to RunBlogRun, where he shares his passion for the sport and its athletes, as his favorite aspect of his career. In addition, he provides updates for BBC Sports at major events, a task that brings him great enjoyment. His theme song is Greg Allman’s “I’m no Angel.”
