Larry Eder
Larry Eder has been involved in the sport of athletics for 52 years. He has participated in the sport as an athlete, coach, magazine publisher, and now, journalist and blogger. His first article, which was about Don Bowden, America’s first sub-4 minute miler, was published in RW in 1983. Larry has launched several magazines on athletics, ranging from American Athletics to the U.S. version of Spikes magazine. Currently, he oversees the content and marketing development of the RunningNetwork, The Shoe Addicts, and RunBlogRun. When it comes to RunBlogRun, his daily dedication to the sport, Larry states: “I must confess, I enjoy traveling to distant competitions, writing about the sport I adore, and the athletes I admire, for my readers at runblogrun.com, more than anything else I have ever done, except maybe running itself.” He also provides updates for BBC Sports at major events, which he finds truly fulfilling.
