Larry Eder
Larry Eder has been involved in the sport of athletics for 52 years. He has participated in the sport as an athlete, coach, magazine publisher, and currently as a journalist and blogger. His first article, which was on Don Bowden, America’s first sub-4 minute miler, was published in RW in 1983. Larry has launched several magazines focusing on athletics, including American Athletics and the U.S. edition of Spikes magazine. Presently, he oversees the content and marketing development for the RunningNetwork, The Shoe Addicts, and RunBlogRun. Regarding RunBlogRun, his daily engagement with the sport, Larry states: “I must confess, I enjoy traveling to distant meets, writing about the sport I am passionate about, and the athletes I admire, for my readers at runblogrun.com, more than anything I have ever done, except, perhaps, running itself.” He also provides updates for BBC Sports during important events, which he particularly enjoys.
