MIAMI, Fla. (CBS12) — A four-time WNBA All-Star was arrested Thursday after allegedly hitting a security guard outside a popular Miami nightclub.
According to a report from the Associated Press, 29-year-old Arike Ogunbowale of the Dallas Wings hit the security guard, knocking him to the ground outside the E11EVEN nightclub just after 4 a.m. The athlete was reportedly at the club to celebrate winning the Unrivaled championship, a game in which she scored 19 points just hours earlier against the Phantom.

Miami-Dade Police say the security guard was attempting to escort Ogunboawale out of the club during the incident.
Ogunbowale was booked for one count of battery and was released on bond Thursday afternoon.
