Dallas Wings host Mercury foe last home game this season

ARLINGTON, Texas — The Dallas Wings will close out their 2025 WNBA season on Thursday night when they host the Phoenix Mercury at a sold-out College Park Center. 

Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. CT.

This will also be the final chance for fans to see Bueckers in action at home this season, capping off what has been a standout rookie campaign.

The game will also serve as the team’s annual Fan Appreciation Night, offering a range of giveaways and fan experiences. Attendees will have the chance to win one of ten golden ticket prizes, which include signed jerseys, Apple Watches, AirPods, iPads, and JBL Party Box Speakers. 

Plus, an exclusive t-shirt celebrating rookie guard Paige Bueckers’ historic season will be available to fans.

As part of the festivities, three 2025 Season Ticket Members who have already renewed for the 2026 season will be awarded an all-expenses-paid trip to the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game.

On the court, the Wings (9-34) will aim to even the season series against the Mercury (27-16). Each team has protected its home court this season, with Phoenix taking two wins at PHX Arena and Dallas earning a 98-89 victory on July 3 behind a career-high 28-point performance from Aziaha James.

While the Wings are playing for pride in their final outing, the Mercury have already secured the No. 4 seed in the upcoming WNBA Playoffs. They will face the fifth-seeded New York Liberty in the opening round, regardless of Thursday’s result.

The North Texas-based Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) team announced a new broadcast rights agreement with TEGNA’s KFAA, making WFAA’s sister station the exclusive local television partner of the Wings.

Under the agreement, all Wings games that are not designated for national television will be available for free over-the-air on KFAA (Ch. 29) in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. A select number of games could also air on WFAA (Ch. 8).

Fans will be able to watch KFAA (Ch. 29) games through their cable, satellite, or streaming provider or through an HD antenna. As of Jan. 22, KFAA is available on the following providers in Dallas-Fort Worth: AT&T U-verse TV (Ch. 29/1029), Charter Spectrum (Ch. 29/1291), DIRECTV (Ch. 29), DIRECTV Stream, DISH (Ch. 29), Frontier Fiber (Ch. 29/529), Fubo, GEUS (Ch. 510), Grande Communications/Astound Broadband, OneSource Communications (Ch. 25), and Optimum (Ch. 10/14).
