UFC CEO Dana White remains confident that Conor McGregor will step into the Octagon in 2025, despite a recent incident involving a drunken livestream.
During the livestream, McGregor consumed alcohol sponsored by Duelbits, raising concerns among fans about his readiness to return to the sport. Despite this, White remains unfazed by the incident.
“I didn’t personally witness the livestream, but I had already stated that Conor wouldn’t be fighting until 2025. It is currently October 1, 2024, so McGregor still has plenty of time,” White told Kevin Iole.
When pressed about the specific timeframe for McGregor’s return in 2025, White declined to provide an exact month, simply reiterating his belief that the Irishman will compete next year.
“I am sticking to 2025. That’s my prediction,” White confirmed.
While McGregor’s future in 2025 remains uncertain, White maintains his optimism and downplays the significance of the livestream incident in relation to the fighter’s potential comeback.
