Anthony Davis had an outstanding performance, scoring a season-high 38 points and grabbing 12 rebounds to lead the Los Angeles Lakers (4-2) to a 131-125 victory over the Toronto Raptors (1-5) on Friday night. LeBron James also had a great game, contributing 27 points and 10 assists as the Lakers never trailed in the game.
Los Angeles started strong, building a huge lead of 26 points in the first half, but Toronto made a comeback in the second half. Austin Reaves added 20 points for the Lakers, while D’Angelo Russell scored 19 points to help secure the team’s first road win of the season after two consecutive losses.
