Dawn Staley, the head coach of South Carolina women’s basketball team, watched the game with keen interest. Staley, a three-time Olympic gold medalist as a player (1996, 2000, 2004) and once as a coach (2021), had a friendly wager with her former Gamecock player, Kamilla Cardoso, who hails from Brazil.
Yooooooo @Kamillascsilva and I have a wager on this game. If she wins I wear a Brazilian jersey on the sideline for a game….if I win she wears during tunnel walk and IG live 🤣🤣🤣 @USWNT
