The Philadelphia Eagles are having a strong 2024 season, with a record of 8-2 in 10 games and a six-game winning streak since Oct. 13. They currently hold the second seed in the NFC behind the 8-1 Detroit Lions.
One standout player for the Eagles this season is linebacker Zack Baun. Signed to a one-year deal in March, Baun has been making a significant impact and proving to be a valuable addition to the team.
Baun began his NFL career with the New Orleans Saints after being drafted in the third round of the 2020 draft. Despite impressive college stats, he struggled to replicate that success with the Saints. However, since joining the Eagles and transitioning to inside linebacker, Baun has excelled.
Highlight performances include a career-high 15 tackles and two sacks in the season opener against the Green Bay Packers, as well as an outstanding game against the Dallas Cowboys on Nov. 10 with eight tackles and two forced fumbles. Baun’s performance against the Cowboys earned him NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors.
