The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (“ITA”) has released today the Division I Men’s Top 25 Coaches Poll for January 22, 2025.
Texas remains on top of the ITA Coaches Poll after coming in as the Preseason No. 1 in the Jan. 6 Rankings. The Longhorns took home all 13 first place votes in today’s poll after a 4-0 start to the season, including a Top 25 win over previously No. 18 Arizona State.
Michigan State makes the biggest move in the Jan. 22 Rankings moving up six spots since the Preseason Poll. The Spartans, in front of a record crowd, took down previously No. 7 ranked Kentucky to start the year and then followed that win up with victories over Vanderbilt and Western Michigan.
The ITA Top 25 Coaches Poll is voted on by the ITA National Ranking Committee. The National Ranking Committee is made up of the 13 ITA Region Chairs, with each chair casting an individual, secret ballot.
