Recently, Dodgers Nation conducted a poll on Twitter/X where fans voiced their opinions on various aspects of the team, including the injury-riddled starting rotation and Dave Roberts’ performance this season.
Fans expressed concerns about the team as the All-Star break and trade deadline approached, with the starting rotation being the biggest worry. The rotation has struggled with injuries, with recent additions like Tyler Glasnow, Walker Buehler, and Yoshinobu Yamamoto landing on the injured list.
Despite criticisms from fans, the bullpen garnered more support in this poll compared to previous ones. Fans praised the relievers for stepping up in games marred by weak starting pitching.
Opinions on position players were divided among fans, with some suggesting specific infield placements and trade targets to address gaps in the lineup caused by injuries.
While the majority of fans approve of the front office’s work this season, some are urging for strategic trade moves before the deadline. Fans also expressed dissatisfaction with Dave Roberts’ handling of injuries but ultimately voted in favor of the Los Angeles manager.
