The Philadelphia Eagles released their final injury report on Friday ahead of their Week 7 matchup against the New York Giants.
Three players have been ruled OUT: Jordan Mailata, Dallas Goedert, and Byron Young.
Mailata has been placed on injured reserve and is set to miss the next four games. Fred Johnson will start at left tackle in his absence. Johnson struggled in his last game against the Buccaneers, and will face a tough test against the Giants’ pass rush.
With Goedert out, the Eagles are left with two active tight ends: Grant Calcaterra and Jack Stoll. Calcaterra is expected to be the primary tight end, while Stoll provides blocking support. Albert Okwuegbunam could be activated from IR as the third tight end option.
Byron Young’s unexpected addition to the injury report on Thursday could lead to him being placed on IR.
Darius Slay and Eli Ricks are listed as QUESTIONABLE for the game.
Slay participated fully in practice on Friday, indicating he may be able to play. Isaiah Rodgers is likely to start in his place if needed.
Ricks appeared on the injury report suddenly and may also be a candidate for injured reserve.
Jalen Carter is not assigned a status after returning to practice on Friday.
