Keith Idec reports that Elijah Garcia, a struggling 21-year-old middleweight prospect, will headline the first PBC on Prime show of 2025 against former Olympian Terrell Gausha on February 15th.
Garcia (16-1, 13 KO) showed promise in 2023, bouncing back from a lackluster performance against Kevin Salgado with a dominant win over Jose Armando Resendiz on the Canelo vs Charlo PPV undercard. A scheduled fight with Kyrone Davis in March was postponed to June due to illness, and things went downhill from there when Garcia missed weight and suffered a questionable loss.
Gausha (24-4, 12 KO) has a mixed record in his last six fights, with losses to top contenders like Erickson Lubin, Tim Tszyu, and Carlos Adames. With his experience and skills, Gausha will provide a tough challenge for Garcia, who needs to be at his best to make a comeback.
