Marleigh Coster, a Manchester U15 High-Performance Centre athlete has been selected for the Netball Northern Ireland U17 Squad to compete in the European Playoffs on 28th January.
Marleigh, who plays WA, has been training with Elite Netball Academy for two years. “The Elite sessions have really built up my strength and confidence on the court. I’m a better athlete now and have learnt so much from all the Elite coaches. I couldn’t have asked for a better coaching team to help guide me on this netball journey. In addition to netball skills, Elite has taught me a lot about fitness, healthy eating/fuelling your body correctly and recovery. All these different elements have been so beneficial and helped me achieve an international call-up.
I’ve also made so many friends while training with Elite!”
All of the coaches at Elite Netball Academy are so proud of Marleigh for getting successfully selected into the Netball Northern Ireland U17s squad. “To represent my country playing a sport I am so passionate about is something I am very excited about! Being called up has made me believe that one day I can achieve my dream of playing professionally.”
Marleigh will be playing in the European Playoffs on 28th January against the Republic of Ireland and then it’s on to Gibraltar for the European Championships on the 7th – 10th March.
