I’ve decided to build a more modern carbon road bike which requires some nice deep carbon wheels. I’m on a tight budget so I looked around at all the China options that often get very good reviews. Elitewheels have become a sponsor of GCN so that really gave me confidence in their quality. On top of that they are stocked by Amazon, so delivery is quick. The price is a little more than some of the other brands out there, but I felt the quick delivery and good reviews made it worth it. So, I bought them, and they arrived in great shape in just a couple of days, here are some pictures:

Unboxing
As you can see in the pictures above the wheelset looks great. They were packaged very well and arrived quickly. They included some adaptors for quick release and also some rim tape. I wish they had included some spare spokes like other brands do, but also hoping none break. The price I paid was $459, but I also found a $25 dollar coupon that I used. For that price I’m very happy with the wheelset. The weight is the only thing that isn’t great, but it is still reasonable for the price.
I’ll be updating this review as I mount tires and get them on the bike with some rides in.
