With the WNBA season set to resume at the end of the week, fans can finally look forward to seeing Caitlin Clark back on the basketball court.
It’s been a while since Clark has showcased her skills, but that will change when the Indiana Fever take on the Phoenix Mercury on Friday night.
ESPN recently released an updated ranking of the top 25 WNBA players at the midseason point, with Clark coming in at No. 15.
After a strong start to the season, Clark has been a standout rookie leading the Fever in scoring and assists. Her performance has helped the team secure a playoff position.
Currently, Clark is averaging 17.1 points, 8.2 assists, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game.
The top five players in the rankings include A’ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart, Napheesa Collier, Alyssa Thomas, and Jonquel Jones.
Other Fever players mentioned in the rankings are Aliyah Boston at No. 17 and Kelsey Mitchell at No. 25.
As the Fever continue their season, Clark will aim to lead the team to the playoffs for the first time since 2016.
