F1 Academy’s seven-race calendar for 2026 has been revealed, with Silverstone set to host the women-only feeder series for the first time on British Grand Prix weekend.

F1 Academy has confirmed its calendar for the 2026 season. The all-female feeder series’ fourth season comprises of 14 races across seven race weekends. Once again, all of the races will be support events on the Formula 1 calendar.

Susie Wolff, Managing Director of F1 Academy, has called the 2026 schedule the series’ “strongest calendar yet”. Five circuits from the 2025 calendar return for 2026, with Silverstone joining for the first time and Circuit of The Americas returning for the first time since 2023.

After appearing on the calendar in each of the last two seasons, Miami International Autodrome and Singapore’s Marina Bay Street Circuit miss out on a slot on the schedule in 2026.

The 2026 F1 Academy Calendar in Full

The 2026 F1 Academy season begins at the Chinese Grand Prix in March. Following the same course as last year, the second event takes place one month later at Jeddah Corniche Circuit as part of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix weekend in April.

Miami is off the calendar for 2026, meaning that the third round takes place in Canada on May 22-24. After that, F1 Academy makes its first visit to Silverstone as part of the British Grand Prix weekend in early July. Zandvoort follows after the summer break on August 21-23.

Round six takes place in Texas, with Circuit of The Americas returning to the F1 Academy schedule for the first time since the series’ inaugural season in 2023. The 2023 United States Grand Prix marked F1 Academy’s first appearance as part of the support package on a Grand Prix weekend, with the previous races that season having been stand-alone events. The Austin race replaces Singapore on the 2026 calendar.

Like in 2025, the season will come to a close at the Las Vegas Grand Prix on November 19-21.

Weekend Format Unchanged For 2026

F1 Academy’s race weekend format will be unchanged for 2026. Each meeting will feature two races – one race being a reverse grid event. Drivers for the 2026 season are yet to be finalised, though McLaren junior drivers Ella Lloyd and Ella Stevens are already confirmed to be racing with Rodin Motorsport.

In F1 Academy, each of the ten current Formula 1 teams sponsors a livery and driver in the series. Cadillac will join the grid in 2027, one year after their F1 debut.

Drivers are limited to a maximum of two seasons in the series, though from 2027 a special exemption to race in a third season may be granted as part of the series’ “focus on deeper talent development”. Marta Garcia, Abbi Pulling and Doriane Pin are the three previous F1 Academy champions.

Speaking about the new calendar, Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali said:

“In just three seasons, F1 Academy has developed some fantastic drivers and grown a huge and passionate fanbase all over the world. It inspires women and girls to consider a role in motorsport, be that on or off the track, by removing barriers and showing what can be done. I would like to thank Susie Wolff and her team for their drive and vision in creating such an outstanding series, and congratulate 2025 Champion, Doriane Pin, for her incredible achievement.

I’m also grateful to our race promoters for their enthusiasm and commitment to making F1 Academy a key fixture at their Grand Prix weekends. We’ve also seen fantastic growth in grassroots participation, which is vital for the future of the sport. Next season is set to be another brilliant year, and I can’t wait to see how the 2026 grid performs.”
