The BRAVE Combat Federation Middleweight division is set for an exciting 2025 as former two-division champion Mohammad Fakhreddine and reigning Light Heavyweight champion Erko Jun have drawn battle lines following Fakhreddine’s impressive win at BRAVE CF 92 in Bahrain.
Fakhreddine, who returned to the BRAVE CF cage after a two-year hiatus, stopped Algeria’s Abdel Rahmane Driai in the main event of BRAVE CF 92 and in his post-fight speech, he expressed interest in facing Erko Jun for the vacant Middleweight title. The Arab MMA legend was responding to an invitation from WFC before BRAVE CF 92 to fight Erko Jun in Slovenia for the Middleweight title.
With his win in Bahrain, Fakhreddine has once again proved his worthiness for another shot at the belt. Backstage after his victory, Fakhreddine noted his plans to reclaim the title he never lost in the cage. He vacated the Middleweight title in 2022 when he took a break from BRAVE CF and is now eager to regain it.
“I hope Erko Jun is ready because I am coming to his living room to take what belongs to me! Everyone knows that I never lost that belt. To me, this belt is still mine, and all I’m going to do is defend it in Erko’s backyard,” Fakhreddine declared.
Currently riding a two-fight winning streak, Fakhreddine was the first fighter to become a simultaneous Light Heavyweight and Middleweight champion in BRAVE CF. Meanwhile, Erko Jun recently captured the Light Heavyweight title in Slovenia and now aims to claim the Middleweight gold. If successful, Erko would become only the second fighter in BRAVE CF history to achieve simultaneous two-division champion status, following in Fakhreddine’s footsteps.
Erko remains undefeated in BRAVE CF, with all his victories coming via finishes. With his eyes now set on the Middleweight title and a showdown with Fakhreddine, this rivalry promises to deliver big time for the BRAVE Nation.
