Recent attention around her departure resurfaced a clip from her June 2024 appearance on “Podcast P with Paul George.” In the clip, she talks about the “Caitlin Clark effect” and shares her views on how the rookie handles criticism, fueling rumors of her potential move to the Fever.
“And what I hope for her is that she still knows that there’s a community of women around her that want her to succeed,” Sabally said.
“Not everyone wants someone to fail, because if you want someone to fail, like, you’re jealous. You’re not great if you want someone else to fail because you can’t prove your own greatness, in my opinion.”
