The Liberty-Sun matchup pitted the defending WNBA champions and one of the league’s two remaining undefeated teams against a squad that had just picked up its first win of the season on Friday.
New York entered the game as an 18.5-point favorite, according to BetMGM, and the Liberty covered with more than ease. They jumped out to a 60–28 lead by halftime and continued to push in the second half.
