Anyone who has witnessed Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever play can attest to why teammates would want to be on her team.
She is not only a remarkable passer with an unparalleled ability to find openings and deliver the ball to teammates in tight spaces, but her sharpshooting skills also create opportunities for her fellow Fever players.
Despite a successful 2024 season for Clark and the Fever, it is likely that they need to bolster their roster to contend for the WNBA championship. The most expedient way to do this would be through free agency acquisitions.
Fortunately for fans, progress is already being made in that direction.
Fever GM Lin Dunn recently appeared on the radio show “The Wake Up Call w/KB & Andy” and confirmed that Indiana is attracting free agents this offseason.
“Absolutely,” Dunn responded when asked about free agents interested in playing with Caitlin Clark. “We are already in discussions with some agents who have expressed interest in their players potentially joining us through free agency or trade.
They have also shown a desire to team up with Clark,” Dunn added.
While Dunn did not disclose specific names, one player that has garnered attention among Fever fans is Satou Sabally, the current guard for the Dallas Wings, who would complement Clark and superstar forward Aliyah Boston perfectly.
One thing is certain – the upcoming offseason promises to be exciting for Fever fans.
