This statistic is even more remarkable considering Clark has only played 26 career games. According to the league’s official page, she currently ranks 268th all-time with 213 assists.

The fact that Clark is already breaking records and is being hailed as the best point guard in the WNBA is further supported by her stellar performance on the court. She is on track to smash the rookie record for assists in a season, with just 12 away from surpassing Ticha Penicheiro’s 225 total dimes in 1998.
Additionally, Clark is poised to set a new record for total assists in a season for any player, aiming to surpass the 316 assists made by Alyssa Thomas in 2023. To achieve this, she would need to maintain an average of just over seven assists per game moving forward. In July, Clark averaged an impressive 12.5 assists per game, indicating her potential to reach this milestone.
