The previous year’s Field Trip Day event for the Fighting Illini women’s basketball team broke multiple records. With a crowd of 11,563, the game set a new attendance record and ranked as the fourth-highest attendance in program history. The team’s 103-33 victory over Saint Peter’s was the largest attendance at the State Farm Center since 1999-2000 and marked the 17th time the team reached a score of 100 or more points in a game.
Building on the success of last year’s team and the incredible atmosphere at the 2023 Field Trip Day game, head coach Shauna Green and her team are excited for this year’s event.
Season ticket holders will not have guaranteed seats for this game but can claim a ticket. More information will be provided to season ticket holders at a later date.
University of Illinois colleges, campus organizations, and community groups will be part of the Field Trip Day pregame activity fair. Booths and activities will offer interactive experiences for students. To participate in the activity fair as a table, please email greuel2@illinois.edu.
