In Indiana’s win against Michigan State on Tuesday night, Malik Reneau scored 16 second-half points and 19 points overall to lead all scorers.
Reneau has been slowed by his knee injury since returning to action, and the 19 points were the most he’s scored in over two months. Reneau also scored 19 against Miami Ohio on Dec. 6.
It was a vintage Mike Woodson-style scoring barrage for Reneau, as he was fed on the right block repeatedly and went to work. But Indiana also put him in pick-and-roll action late for some variety, leading to two key scores.
