Alex Pereira has made such an impact since debuting inside the octagon that his old haters are becoming fans, including one former UFC champion.

Alex Pereira is one of the exclusive few to claim titles in two divisions in UFC history. His time inside the octagon has been relatively short, competing for just four years in the pinnacle of the sport.Â
Throughout his time in the spotlight, Pereira has had to prove many doubters wrong and has done so in emphatic fashion. That happens to be the case once again after his blowout victory against Magomed Ankalaev last time out.
“I used to hate on Alex Pereira, but that motherf***er’s a gangster,” former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold said in response to Pereira reclaiming his title.
“It’s all about confidence. This is all about balls. It’s like, he has it. He f***ing has it, I’m not going to lie. I can’t hate on the motherf***er anymore.”

The greatest of all time discussions have long been taking place in combat sports, with many names considered viable options to take the crown.
After his dominance, Luke Rockhold believes Alex Pereira should be in that conversation.
“He’s one of the GOATs because he carries the same mindset every f***ing time. You know, like, he doesn’t have a ground game, but the motherf***er’s got balls.”
