The Fortnite Attack on Titan collaboration may soon make a return. Epic Games previously introduced various anime characters and brands such as Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, and My Hero Academia, with Attack on Titan being among them. This collaboration featured incredible in-game items and skins in the Item Shop. Recent leaks suggest that these items may be making a comeback.
Fortnite Attack on Titan Collaboration Might Be Coming Back
According to HYPEX, a well-known leaker in the Fortnite community, the Attack on Titan items have been updated in the game files recently. These items were reintroduced in the latest update, indicating that Epic Games is likely planning to reintroduce them. This includes the ODM Gear and Thunder Spear, two Mythic weapons from Chapter 4 Season 2. The reappearance of these items suggests a potential return.
The leaker suggests three potential outcomes:
– Skins return to the Item Shop and the Mythics return to Battle Royale mode
– Skins return with a second wave to the Item Shop and the Mythics are back in the loot pool
– AoT skins come back with the Mythics added to Creative mode
Regardless, it seems likely that something from Attack on Titan will be returning. The updated items indicate that they will be added to Battle Royale or Creative mode. Given Epic’s tendency to promote in-shop skins, the skins are expected to return as well. If the items are in the loot pool, the skins will likely be in the shop.
It is unclear when this return might happen. The presence of ODM Gear and Thunder Spear may not align with the current Marvel season. If there are Mythics in the loot pool, they are expected to be Marvel-related. Brand collaborations like Attack on Titan may not fit in with the current theme.
