Fortnite has an abundance of skins, too many to rotate in and out of the shop weekly. However, some skins are gone for longer periods of time, like the Fortnite Master Chief skin. This skin is finally returning in Chapter 6.
Recently, Epic Games has been bringing back many old skins that haven’t been seen in a while. Earlier this month, the rare Renegade Raider skin made a return. While Master Chief isn’t considered one of the rarest skins, it has been missing for over 900 days, making it harder to find.
The Halo protagonist was first introduced in Chapter 2, but hasn’t made a reappearance for a while. According to Fortnite leakers, that will change when the item shop refreshes tonight. What can we expect when the Fortnite Master Chief skin makes its comeback?
Master Chief Fortnite Skin Making a Return
Leaks suggest that Fortnite is bringing back a rarely seen skin this week. Along with the long-rumored Cyberpunk collaboration, we will also see the return of another gaming skin. Master Chief is set to make a comeback after being absent from the item shop for 934 days, nearing the point of being considered ‘never coming back’.
Initially added in December 2020, Master Chief made appearances in March, August, September, and the following summer before disappearing from the Fortnite item shop. Tonight, he will be back in the shop. The reason for his prolonged absence remains unclear, possibly related to rights agreements with Microsoft or Epic’s own decisions.
