Game day looks have long been celebrated in the sports world. Fans love to see their beloved players showing off their unique sense of style.
When we examine the long-deserved popularization of women’s sports today, there is a renewed spotlight on how much women have taken fashion to the next level. In the WNBA in particular, players have been looking incredible on and off the court.
While there are far too many fashion-forward women to count, here’s the rundown on four athletes in the WNBA who are bound to turn heads this upcoming season.
A’ja Wilson, Las Vegas Aces
After being the No. 1 overall draft pick in 2018, A’ja Wilson hasn’t looked back. Between winning multiple MVP awards and championships, her grind has led to the upcoming launch of a signature shoe and apparel line with Nike, aptly named “A’One.” The shoe’s sleek — and wonderfully pink — design combined with her hoodie’s satin lining likely have fans counting down the minutes until the May 6 launch date.
That’s not even counting Wilson’s stunning monochromatic looks, killer double denim sets and stylish two-piece suit and skirt combos. Some of her most dominant fits have showcased the polished designs of brands like Sergio Hudson, Minh N Le and Mugler.
Angel Reese, Chicago Sky
It’s no surprise that with a nickname like “Bayou Barbie,” Angel Reese is on this list. The Maryland native embodies the “fashion-forward” aesthetic with her classy yet sophisticated style.
Reese has appeared runway-ready in thigh-length fur coats, stunning suit-inspired outfits and elevated streetwear. She also isn’t afraid to take risks, sporting large fur-lined boots, thong sandals and even shoulder pads. The Chicago Sky superstar will undoubtedly continue to shine and excel this year, strutting her stuff in more ways than one.
Kiki Iriafen, Washington Mystics
All eyes were on Kiki Iriafen during the most recent March Madness as she helped lead University of Southern California to the elite eight, and not just for her skills on the court. Iriafen is always dressed to the nines. A personal favorite look from her Instagram is a cropped sweater, vest and black skirt that she paired with a leather jacket, which made the Eiffel Tower disappear behind her.
Iriafen did not mess around at the 2025 WNBA draft, showing up in an exquisite gold dress that incorporated Iriafen’s Nigerian culture throughout. She worked with designer Nneka Alexander to make her vision come true when she was drafted fourth overall to the Washington Mystics.
Cameron Brink, Los Angeles Sparks
Models should be thankful that Cameron Brink decided to play basketball. Brink is transcendent when it comes to miniskirts and sleek dresses. She is never not wearing a stylish jacket or knee-high boots.
After her injury in the previous season, Brink seems ready to strut through the tunnel as she enters her first game of 2025 especially now that she has partnered with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit to talk about basketball and fashion. It will be exciting to see what dress or skirt Brink will step out in; either way, it better include some high-heeled boots.
