In a disappointing season, Ferrari at least claimed the DHL Fastest Pit Stop Award 2025, a title that speaks of coordination, reflexes, and mechanical perfection. A success that is worth double, because it comes precisely in the area where, until a few years ago, the Scuderia struggled the most.
In 2020, for example, the team publicly acknowledged structural issues, revealing a vulnerability that cost positions and trust at key moments. In 2022, incidents like Sainz’s chaotic pit stop in Zandvoort fueled the narrative of a department still searching for automatic precision and calm under pressure.2025, however, tells a different story. Ferrari has claimed the DHL Fastest Pit Stop Award for the season. This recognition was created to reward teamwork and surgical precision during stops, a symbolic (and concrete) measure of operational excellence in F1.
Confirmation of the title came with a clear margin over McLaren, which still holds the record for the fastest pit stop of the year. But the Rossa was rewarded for textbook consistency throughout the season: from the early flashes (Bahrain, Saudi Arabia) to the mid-season rounds, with stops clocked at 2.00–2.10 seconds.The value of this triumph is twofold.
