New York Giants fans have been eagerly awaiting players they can take pride in for years.
It seems they may have found a couple in defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence and wide receiver Malik Nabers.
In the Giants’ 21-15 victory over the Cleveland Browns, former NFL offensive lineman and current NFL Network analyst, Brian Baldinger, highlighted the impact both players had on the game.
Baldinger first pointed out Lawrence’s pressure on Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson, resulting in intentional grounding and a loss of 13 yards for Cleveland.
.@Giants #SexyDexy is any DT in the NFL playing better than Dexter and he played 80% of the snaps yesterday. #BaldysBreakdowns pic.twitter.com/vzPh45GiEf

“It’s just like a sack,” Baldinger remarked, noting Lawrence’s two sacks and three QB hits in the game.
Next, Baldinger praised Nabers for his performance, particularly highlighting an end-around play where Nabers outran the entire Cleveland defense on fourth-and-1 to extend a Giants drive.
.@Giants When you have Malik… beats the entire @Browns defense on 4th-1 for a first down. What a difference maker #BaldysBreakdowns pic.twitter.com/UIrk64zg7z

The Giants are showing improvement and playing better football, described by head coach Brian Daboll as “complimentary football.”
With Lawrence and Nabers making significant contributions, the Giants hope to continue their success and have a strong season.
