Wearing a feather-trimmed Gucci monogram cape, GG earrings and black heels, Aryna Sabalenka hit balls on a tennis court to announce her new partnership with the Italian fashion house.
The WTA world No. 1 continues to expand her off-court portfolio after recently signing with SoHo-based jeweler Material Good as its first-ever brand ambassador. Now, Sabalenka has stepped firmly into the luxury fashion space by joining the Gucci family, adding another major name to her growing list of endorsements.
Although the Belarusian competes under a neutral flag, her on-court dominance and bold, charismatic personality have made her one of the most marketable figures in women’s sport. Ranked second among the highest-paid female athletes in 2025 with earnings of $30 million, Sabalenka shows no signs of slowing down as sponsors continue to line up.
“She can do it all ♥️,” her boyfriend Georgios Frangulis wrote in the comments of the Instagram post announcing the Gucci collaboration.
Speaking after her dramatic third-round Australian Open win over Anastasia Potapova, 7-6(4) 7-6(7), Sabalenka explained why the partnership feels like a natural fit.
“Well, Gucci is bold and expressive. I think it’s the best fit,” she said. “It’s a perfect time to bring fashion on court. Gucci is the best brand, the best fashion brand with the best designer right now. Yeah, I think we can do really cool stuff for on court.”
When it comes to her tennis apparel, Sabalenka remains aligned with Nike, drawing attention this fortnight at the Australian Open in the brand’s Spring Slam Dress.
