If you’ve followed women’s college basketball over the last few years, then the name Hailey Van Lith needs no introduction.
From Louisville to LSU and most recently TCU, she’s been a lightning rod for conversation and a walking highlight reel.

Now, with her WNBA dreams realized, she’s officially gearing up for her next big chapter in Chicago.
Her impressive collegiate career culminated in being selected 11th overall by the Chicago Sky in the 2025 WNBA Draft, reuniting her with former LSU teammate Angel Reese.
Adding to the excitement, Van Lith has officially selected her jersey number for her debut season with the Chicago Sky.
From her high school days at Cashmere, Washington, where she became the state’s all-time leading scorer and Washington’s Ms. Basketball in 2020, to her dominant NCAA career, Hailey Van Lith’s journey has been extraordinary.

At Louisville, she earned two First-Team All-ACC honors and led the Cardinals to the Elite Eight in 2021 and the Final Four in 2022.
Following the 2023 season, in which she again was named first-team All-ACC and earned All-America honorable mention, Van Lith entered the transfer portal, joining the LSU Tigers.

Her time at LSU saw her contribute to another Elite Eight run before ultimately transferring to TCU for her final collegiate season.
Last season with the Horned Frogs, Van Lith made history by becoming the first player to lead three different programs to the Elite Eight.
In 2024, she averaged 17.9 points, a career-high 5.4 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game, earning Big 12 Player of the Year and AP Third Team All-American honors.
