Hello!
Just popping in to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving:
[There truly is a bike for every lifestyle.]
If you’re Canadian, I guess I missed your Thanksgiving, so please accept my belated well-wishings. And if you’re from some other country where they don’t have Thanksgiving and you’re wondering what it’s all about, basically it’s the day when all the urbanists go back home to the suburbs where they grew up and pretend they don’t enjoy the convenience of driving around in their parents’ cars or the comfort of a large detached single-family dwelling.
[Latent resentment of a John Hughesian childhood often manifests itself as urbanism in adulthood.]
Perhaps you’re en route somewhere yourself at this very moment. Or perhaps you’re at the office taking care of those last-minute TPS reports. Or perhaps you’re deep in the woods on your e-bike, hot on the trail of a big-ass turkey:
Wherever you may be, may your holiday be joyful, may your turducken by succulent, and, most importantly, may you get the opportunity to sneak out for a ride. As for me, I’ve got plenty to be thankful for, including your faithful readership, which I still don’t take for granted even after 37 years of blogging.
So see you back here on Monday. Until then,
I remain,
Yours and so forth,
–Tan Tenovo
