The Miami Heat are set to return to Puerto Rico for a preseason game ahead of next season. The Heat have staged six previous games in Puerto Rico, but this will be their first return since 2006.
The NBA has committed to playing preseason games outside of the mainland United States and Canada in recent seasons. Teams making a preseason trip to Abu Dhabi has become an annual event. News recently came out that the NBA will return to Australia for exhibition games in the coming years, as well.
