Amazon has released a free 18-minute behind-the-scenes glimpse into the production of the first season of Amazon Prime’s Fallout TV show.
“Good morning, Vault Dwellers!” announced the team on the show’s Twitter/X account. “Enjoy this new 18-minute look at the making of Fallout Season 1. For Your Consideration.”
You can watch it below:
The documentary provides a glimpse “from Vault to Wasteland” with the cast and crew of the Emmy-nominated series. Bethesda boss Todd Howard also appears, expressing his delight with the show’s environments and meticulous attention to detail.
Fallout is produced by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, the creators of Westworld. It stars Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, and Walton Goggins.
The show’s story revolves around “haves and have-nots in a world where there’s almost nothing left to have”. It is set “200 years after the apocalypse, [when] the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe awaiting them”.
Following its nominations for 16 Emmy Awards, the second season of Amazon’s Fallout TV show is currently in production and “ahead of schedule”.
Additionally, Fallout: London has become the “fastest-redeemed” game ever on GOG.
The fan-made mod, available for free on GOG’s platform, was redeemed over 500,000 times in its first 24 hours.
