Caitlin Clark has been making a name for herself in the WNBA during her rookie season, and her first All-Star Game will take place in Phoenix.
Clark, along with Angel Reese, is part of Team WNBA for the All-Star Game at Footprint Center this Saturday, where they will face the U.S. Women’s National Team in a pre-Olympics tune-up event.
Despite not making the Olympic team, Clark’s All-Star selection was well-deserved with over 700,000 fan votes and an impressive rookie performance.
Fans have seen a lot of Clark this season, playing an average of 35.0 minutes per game, the most among rookies and fourth-most in the league.
Clark and the Indiana Fever have turned things around recently, winning four of their last five games against tough opponents, including a victory against the Phoenix Mercury.
Currently, Clark is averaging over 15 points, five rebounds, and five assists per game, joining a select group of players to achieve this in their rookie season.
She made history by recording a triple-double against the New York Liberty, becoming the first rookie in WNBA history to do so.
While it’s uncertain if Clark will participate in the 3-point contest, she ranks third in 3-pointers made this season.
Lexie Hull shared a fun moment with Clark at the ASU practice facility, highlighting the lighter side of the game and creating a positive experience for the players.
