Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR) officials have announced the 2025 event schedule, which is considered one of the most significant in the series’ nearly 50-year history. The unveiling took place ahead of the HSR Fall Historics event at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.
The 2025 schedule features seven race weekend events, including the all-new HSR Classic Endurance Championship and the introduction of the HSR Classic 10 Hour at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. These events will join the existing HSR Classic tribute races at Daytona International Speedway, Sebring International Raceway, and Watkins Glen International in the new Classic Endurance Championship.
A major schedule realignment will see half of the HSR Classic Endurance races, such as the HSR Classic Sebring 12 Hour and the HSR Classic 6 Hour at The Glen, paired up with and preceding the contemporary runnings of the legendary sports car races they pay tribute to each year.
The season will kick off with the HSR Classic Sebring 12 Hour at Sebring International Raceway on March 7 – 9, followed by The Mitty at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta on April 25 – 27. The Classic 6 Hour at Watkins Glen will then take place on June 12 – 14.
Additional events include the HSR races at VIRginia International Raceway on September 5 – 7, the Classic 10 Hour at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta on September 25 – 28, the Classic Daytona 24 Hour on November 5 – 9, and the Pistons and Props event at Sebring International Raceway on December 5 – 7.
These events offer a unique blend of vintage and historic racing, combined with modern racing on consecutive weekends, providing an unmatched motorsports experience for fans and competitors alike.
