With 2024’s Steam Winter Sale in full swing, Hooded Horse, an indie publisher specializing in the strategy, tactics, and simulation genres, has unveiled its lengthy list of discounted games.

Featuring both popular titles with a wider reach, such as Manor Lords and Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic as well as hidden gems like Clanfolk or Terra Invicta, the weeks leading up to January 2, 2025 provide an excellent opportunity to discover a potential new addiction or nab that one DLC still missing from your collection.

Hooded Horse Steam Winter Sale 2024 Discounted Games

Aside from the two more traditional city builders above, Against the Storm and its Keepers of the Storm DLC are both having their prices slashed, making it easier to try out their roguelite spin on the genre.

Fans of older historical 4X strategy games will be happy to hear that Old World will be discounted by 50% during the Steam Winter Sale 2024, with its Heroes of the Aegean DLC being 90% cheaper.

Real-time tactics and stealth enthusiasts can pick up Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, the newest addition to Hooded Horse’s growing roster of games, at a 33% discount.

Nebulous: Fleet Command is also available for half off, ahead of its upcoming Carriers update, slated for a January 10 launch.

If you fancy sci-fi strategy of the large scale variety, Terra Invicta – a title from the developers of XCOM’s popular Long War mod – will be 35% cheaper as it continues its flight through early access.
