As loud as A’ja Wilson is when cheering on her teammates on social media, she sure knows how to keep her reported relationship with Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo on the down-low. It’s not exactly a secret, though, because while she’s on social media showering her LV Aces teammates, who are in Miami for Unrivaled, with love, guess where A’ja is? Yes, she’s in California, supporting her reported boyfriend’s team playing against LA Clippers on Monday.
And she has turned heads with a look that screamed: “simple but classy.”
Wilson rocked a pair of black knife boots paired with baggy black denim jeans. To keep things sleek, she threw on a white denim trucker jacket over a simple black tee. The W star added some edge with orange translucent square-framed sunglasses and a silver chain. Not to mention her signature braided loose waves.
LA Clippers’s official X confirmed her presence with a picture of her sitting in the stands, writing, “Glad you pulled up to watch us, A’ja 😉🫶.” Well, she wasn’t exactly for them there, though, now, was she? But hey, a win’s a win!

As for the game, the Clippers beat the Miami Heat 109-98. Adebayo didn’t play, though—he was out due to a back injury.
We already know that the rumors have been swirling about the two ballers’ relationship for quite a while now. They’ve been spotted together at various events, and the 2024 MVP has even attended Miami Heat games previously.
However, neither has openly confirmed anything about their relationship, keeping it low-key.
Hours earlier, Wilson showed love to her Aces teammates by reposting their tribute on Instagram, where they honored her third MVP win. Her teammates were seen rocking her No. 22 jersey. The WNBA star reposted the tribute on her Instagram story, writing, “I got the best teammates ever🤍.”
Even though she wasn’t participating in the new 3*3 league with them, she made sure to spread some love for her teammates. On the court, while A’ja had a great season, LV Aces were knocked out of the playoffs in Game 4 of their semifinal series, ending their two-year championship streak.
And now, looking ahead to next season, the Aces might face some big changes. Several key players are hitting free agency, including Kelsey Plum, Emma Cannon, Jessika Carter, Alysha Clark, Sydney Colson, Dyaisha Fair, and Tiffany Hayes.
Will A’ja Wilson & Co. lose Kelsey Plum?
Kelsey Plum is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after free agents this offseason. After not signing a contract extension alongside A’ja and the other Aces stars, speculation is high that Plum may be ready for a fresh start and could be seeking a bigger role with a new team. And leaving the Aces could allow her to be the face of a new franchise.
This is especially true after the Aces lost part of their coaching staff, with Becky Hammon’s assistants, Natalie Nakase and Tyler Marsh, moving on to other teams. KP could decide to leave because of these changes, and it would be a huge blow to the Aces.

Despite the team extending a core qualifying offer to the star, which would guarantee her a supermax one-year contract worth $249,244, there’s still the possibility of her opting out and leaving if a better opportunity arises.
There’s also talk of teams like the Chicago Sky being interested in Plum. With Marsh now coaching the Sky, there’s a chance that he could lure her to Chicago, as the Sky would likely have the assets to make a trade with the Aces. Another possible destination could be the Golden State Valkyries who extend the offer to Plum to make her their primary scorer.

On top of all that, Plum opted out of participating in the inaugural Unrivaled 3×3 league season instead of focusing on rest and recovery.
So, what’s going through her mind?
Will she return to the Aces and try for another title run, or could she join Kate Martin’s lead in Valkyries to take on a bigger role?
