Neve Bradbury’s journey from winning a contract at Canyon-SRAM through the Zwift Academy to becoming one of the best climbers in the world has been remarkable. As she heads into her season opener at the Tour Down Under in 2025, she is now recognized as a top-level climber.
Bradbury’s transformation from racing in a “random Airbnb” to excelling in WorldTour climbing can be attributed to her settling into European life and challenging herself in races outside her comfort zone, according to Canyon-SRAM zondacrypto team manager Ronny Lauke.
Although it took some time for Bradbury to adjust to life in Europe after joining the team at a young age, Lauke emphasized the importance of helping her become independent and adapt to the demands of WorldTour racing.
Lauke also mentioned that giving Bradbury opportunities to race in different terrains helped her understand her weaknesses and hone her climbing skills.
Now considered a key support rider for Tour de France Femmes champion Kasia Niewiadoma, Bradbury has extended her contract with Canyon-SRAM zondacrypto until 2027.
